As a company car driver and user of the Charge Repay Service, you may want an overview of the actual reimbursements for home charging conducted by your company. Many enthusiastic electric company car drivers also keep private statistics on their vehicle’s efficiency, perhaps even in combination with data from a PV system.
The Charge Repay Service now offers two new export options for users through an update. Firstly, it is possible to download a CSV file with all raw data (private and business). Secondly, there are PDF statements that show the exact transactions and amounts used by the company as the basis for reimbursement.
Direct Access to All Charging Data
Data is particularly important in the field of renewable energy and electrification to optimally align consumption and generation with smart statistics. Monitoring consumption data for verification can also be a good reason to create your own statistics.
To provide users with the greatest possible flexibility, all available information on recorded charging sessions can now be exported as a CSV file in the driver view. The file contains the following columns:
- Start date and time
- Stop date and time
- Start meter reading
- Stop meter reading
- Valid electricity price at the start of charging
- Energy consumption of the charging session
- Total cost of the charging session
- Last entered mileage at the start of charging
- Assignment (business/private)
- Export status
- Custom fields (if any are provided by the company)
Maximum Transparency in Billing
An export created by fleet management or automatically is considered the end of the billing month. This export is the basis for payments to drivers. To give drivers an overview of which charging sessions have been billed and paid, they now have the option to download their own export with their business charging sessions billed in a specific month.
The exports can be found in the menu under the “Billing” section. The entry for a specific month also shows which months have already been exported by fleet management and which have not.
Subsequent Adjustment of Charging Sessions
If legally compliant wallboxes are connected to the Charge Repay Service, the recorded charging sessions can be marked as business or private by the drivers afterwards. This assignment is possible even after an export has been created, depending on the company’s settings.
If a charging session is marked as business after an export for the respective month, it will not be included in that month’s export as it is already securely archived. The session will be considered as a so-called carryover charge in the next export and thus also in the next payment.
